Stayed here over Christmas 2008. Lovely apartment, fantastic view from the kitchen/dining room. Never enjoyed breakfast so much and we really miss the ducks! Was good to have time to spend in Girona with a cosy and very well equipped apartment bang in the centre of things. David was very friendly & helpful too. We'll be back!

We spent four nights (five days) in Gerona. The Riverside Apartment was perfect for our stay. A fantastic location in a fantastic city. It was our first visit to Gerona - it won't be our last. We would definitely use this apartment again and again. For a taste of Riverside life Gerona style we'd heartily recommend it.

The location itself, as mentioned above, is the most historic, characterful and pleasant areas of the city.

All the comments below about David being a most welcoming host are entirely true.

We had a wonderful break that set us up nicely for the cold dark Scottish winter's days.

The apartment was in a brilliant location in the centre of Girona with everything in walking distance. David, the owner, was very helpful prior to our arrival responding to e-mails and on our arrival. Would definately recommend a stay. We had a great time.

What a fantastic time we all had! Stayed here in April for a week, myself my sister and my niece. The flat was perfect, had everything we needed and was very central, in the heart of the old town. Stairs were a bit of a challenge with suitcases but hey whats to be expected when you're staying in such beautifully preserved historic buildings! David very helpful and accommodating with maps and places to visit etc. Bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Lots of places to visit - had no problems filling our week. Shops great too! Great atmosphere in Girona, everyone very welcoming. Will definitely return in the future.

The Girona RiverSide apartment is the perfect location for any kind of holiday you wish to have in beautiful Catalonia. It is a great base from which to explore the surrounding towns and countryside. We loved the apartment with its views of the old town and the wildlife in the river below, especially the kingfisher, which was fascinating to watch. David, the owner and host, was so helpful, he made us feel at home immediately. We can heartily recommend this holiday rental.

Hi David, we thought the apartment was fantastic - very light, fresh and roomy. Great location too - loved sitting by the window and watching the world go by. The old quarter is gorgeous and we couldn't have been better placed to explore it. Would definitely recommend it to others.

hola david.no en se massa d´anglés, però calculo que deu de ser una espècie d´enquesta per saber que pensa la gent de la seva estada a l´apartament.
la veritat és que ho vaig trovar exelent, llevat d´un petit detall, que vaig tenir que pagar el mateix per la meva estada sola amb el meu gos, que si hagués vingut amb parella, sincerament no ho trovo just.com saps jo també llogava apartaments per una agencia de l´ametlla de mar, i feiem el mateix, però no deixo de trovar-ho injust. una persona sola pràcticament no embruta el pis, ni fa soroll, ni trenca res.que unes vacances amb solitari et costin el doble que si vas amb parella, doncs bueno ja invitare algú el pròxim cop, encara que desitji la solitud.
però moltes gràcies per tot i molt amable.si mai torno a les terres gironines et faig un truc.

What can I say; the Girona Riverside Apartment not only met my expectations but greatly surpassed them. The light filled space provided not only a warm ambiance but a comfortable and quiet retreat. The spectacular view of the meandering Onyar River, a stone’s drop below, and the brightly colored apartment buildings that line its shores are worth the trip itself. The apartment’s location in the old quarter, the Barri Vell is fabulous, as is the host, David Lloret.
